The purpose of this climate justice manual/toolkit is to enhance the knowledge and skills on Climate Justice among the members of GP network (e.g., young people via GP trainers)- aligning with the relevant and existing practices among the Federation.
The main objective ActionAid want to achieve through this document is to:
- Increase conceptual clarity and knowledge on different issues relevant to climate justice.
- Young people are able to exercise various tools to implement youth-led activism/movement.
- Young people are motivated to take initiative and conduct their own campaigns and advocacy on Climate Justice.
The Global Platform (GP) Secretariat through the technical support of CaST Network Limited wants to develop a comprehensive document that will help to build a common understanding of Climate Justice across the GP network. This manual/toolkit will work as a reference document or a global resource on Climate Justice and campaigns- which can be contextualized and used across the GP network.
It will be used by GP members and trainers across the network for disseminating knowledge and strengthen their actions of Climate Justice.
