Integrated Analysis of Climate Adaptation and Resilience Projects and Sectoral NRM Policies: Bridging Gaps and Enhancing Synergies for Collaborative Approach

The overall objective of this study is to analyze climate adaptation and resilience initiatives, as well as sectoral natural resource management (NRM) policies, to find any gaps and synergies that exist between these efforts, with the ultimate goal of ensuring collaborative approaches in addressing climate change challenges from TROSA 3R ( Rivers, Rights, and Resilience) lens.

I. Evaluating the adaptation and resilience projects (past, current, and future potential) in Haor regions, Bangladesh, and finding out the integration and collaboration gaps and opportunities within those projects.

II. Systematically reviewing, analyzing, and identifying gaps in the Haor-related natural resource management policies and action plans that are documented in policy papers, reports, or other formats.

III. Identifying coordination gaps and limitations in coherence between projects and policies considered in objectives 1 and 2.

IV. Exploring and identifying potential scopes, synergies, and opportunities to ensure a collaborative and holistic approach between the natural resource management policies and projects of the Haor region to contribute effectively to climate adaptation and resilience.
