Quamrun is a Business Consultant with experience in projects centered on climate change, nutrition, and infrastructure development. Quamrun finished her under-graduation degree from North South University with a major in Finance. Her academic learning enabled her to have a deep understanding of financial analysis, economic models and learn quickly about new industries and markets. At the University, her focus has been on research and analysis of modern financial markets and trends. Besides that, she has a perpetual keen interest in feasibility studies and project developments. She is an avid runner who enjoyed participating in the activities of entrepreneurs and finance clubs at University. Her specialties include business reporting, modelling, M&A, venture capital, negotiations, IPOs, forecasting, market analysis, and industry analysis.
Quamrun has an inclusive experience assisting in research in private sector engagement projects under different local implementing agencies like Khulna City Corporation. Besides, she has assisted in projects under multiple international agencies and development partners including, SNV, Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN), and DFID.
In 2017, Quamrun started her professional career as a Business Development Executive under VCube, InsideMaps Inc. She was entitled to support business generation activities, identify, qualify, and secure business opportunities alongside her academic studies. In January 2020, she joined as a research intern at Constellation Asset Management Company (CAMC), an emerging market finance group operating through Bangladesh, connecting the global investor to opportunities beyond developed market borders. During her term at CAMC. She analyzed prospective sectors to invest in Bangladesh (global & local perspective), measured company-specific risks, evaluated investment rationales, assessed peer companies based on financial ratios, estimated business segments, and revenue breakdown. Furthermore, she was responsible for supporting research methodology and project management for the Office’s Research team and providing research methods, technical assistance, and support to research projects managed by the research team. She was also engaged in capacity-building activities, data analysis, report writing, and data use.
